The Ksyrium Elite road wheel has been a benchmark for reliability, light weight and versatility for more than a decade. This updated version makes it easier than ever to experience the benefits of riding tubeless. Integrated with our Yksion Pro UST Tubeless tires, the system makes installation, removal and maintenance simple and hassle-free. Eliminating the tube reduces friction in the system, which means less rolling resistance and higher speeds. You can also lower your tire pressure, which gives you a smoother, more comfortable ride plus added control on rough roads. And you’ll enjoy a reduced risk of punctures, so you can ride with confidence and push yourself farther.
The rims are engineered with our patented Fore Drilling to form a stronger connection between the spokes and the rim. Isopulse lacing improves stability and boosts lateral stiffness while sprinting or climbing. Our exclusive patented ISM 4D process strategically removes excess material from the rim while maintaining it around the spokes, where tension is applied.
The wheel is available in three color options: gray on black; black with red highlights; and black with yellow highlights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Incredible ride & performance! I started riding the Ksyrium Elite UST in June 2017 and have been "wow'd" ever since. The installation was shockingly easy (no compressor needed, no tire levers needed) and fast. Ride quality on every surface (gravel, road, rough road, dirt, etc), whether climbing, descending, or riding the flats, has done nothing but impress. I'm setting all sorts of personal records on all sorts of terrain and have total confidence in the performance at high speed. Whether it's been a crazy fast gran fondo, a hard ride on road and dirt in the mountains, or a day of "oops I'm lost" gravel exploration, these wheels have handled it all flawlessly. Even with four months of steady use, I've had zero mechanicals or flat tires. And only now am I thinking I could change my rear tire for the first time! Super impressed. This wheel/tire combo can do it all as far as I'm concerned!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bravo Mavic! Road Tubeless for the masses I've been using Road Tubeless since it's first incarnation in 2006 with the Shimano/Hutchinson partnership. Although that system performed well, there were some mounting challenges from time to time. Mavic UST nails it. Mounted 8 tires back to back using a floor pump and never having to resort to a CO2 cartridge. Tire performance is excellent and they are true to size 25 and 28mm. It just works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First Tubeless Road Wheels I have been riding these wheels for a little over 3 weeks. The primary purpose of this purchase was to have a reliable set of wheels for commuting and for training. So far, these wheels have served those two purposes great. I like the bladed spokes and the fact that the nipples on the wheel are substantially larger than your typical nipple. I have had nipples break in the past. I have also cracked a rim in the past; therefore, I like the fact that these came with a three year warranty. The purchase included sealant, tires, and tools which are all high quality. The wheelset is relatively light and the rear hub engages very quickly. The wheels could definitely be used as pit wheels or for weeknight practice crits. I would have preferred these wheels come with a slightly longer valve stem. I would have also preferred not so many stickers. I ended up peeling off all the "badges". I can't really speak to the ease of setup because I had my LBS set them up tubeless. So other than a few of my personal preferences, overall the quality and build of the wheelset is great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New tubeless rider I purchased a set of Mavic's Ksyrium Elite UST with Yksion Pro UST tires. I had seen and heard about tubeless mounting problems,when the wheel arrived I removed rear tire and tubeless stem and installed at tube. You could tell the fit was a little tight with the tube, had to have a little help with a tire tools but had no problem. Trying to see what it would have to do out on the road. Removed tire installed tubeless stem and remounted the tire without tools. Once mounted it took 25 pumps with a Leyzne Steel Floor pump to reach a pressure of 85psi. Did the same thing with the front wheel mounting with out tools and inflated with floor with out any problems. On my first ride I could not believe how smooth and quite the tubeless set up was. With two rides on the wheels I removed the tires with the sealant just to see how much of a mess it would be. The sealant cleaned up with out any problems, remounted the tires installed sealant no problems at all. In total I have removed the tires 5 times, mounting or removing these tires will not be a problem. With the ride quality of the tubeless tire with 80 psi in front and 85 rear. I doubt I will ever go tube again. Mavic did a fantastic job with the UST set up. The rear hub is super quiet. Just can't find any problem with these wheels. One negative was getting the tire off the bead,it took me a little while to get it down pat. Grabbing the tire with both hands using the thumbs to push the bead off the rim seems to work best. I started by using tire tools and that didn't work at all. Another negative was I had paint to chip off the front hub before ever mounting on the bike.
