Reduced inertia of the lightweight rim delivers instant acceleration.
Mavic Road Tubeless UST improves rolling efficiency.

Versatile performance for all road riding conditions.

Minimal drag, low inertia and high lateral stiffness makes it fast and efficient on all types terrain, from the flats to mountain climbs.
Best braking efficiency of carbon clinchers thanks to iTgMAX.

Better tire grip and control with reduced risk of flats.

Best-in-class tire grip thanks to UST and 11Storm compound.
High flat protection thanks to UST and easy on-the-road tire repair.

The Cosmic Pro Carbon has traditionally been favored primarily for fast, flat races, but recent improvements have boosted this wheel's versatility.

Cosmic Pro Carbon UST is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nearly Perfect Except... Awesome wheelset and an excellent upgrade to my bike. I needed something that I could train and race on, and the Cosmic Pro Carbon ticked all the boxes without breaking the bank. Fast in the flats, light enough to still glide up climbs, and not so deep that the wind moves you around. Braking is awesome in dry conditions, and predictable in the wet. The UST system is super easy to use and the tires are surprisingly good. There are two things that I have to knock a star off for. 1. If you ride on wet roads and happen to go through a puddle or two, the rim will take on water and the only effective way to get it out is to unmount the tire and remove the valve stem. That means remounting the tire, and adding new sealant. 2. The brake pads that come with the set are yellow and will stain the brake track yellow. It doesn't affect braking performance, but it does affect the aesthetics of the wheel. Mavic needs to give owners a way to effectively clean this, as the only other option is to run their gray coloured pads which are expensive.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good but kind of cheap looking. These are great wheels. This is my 3rd set of pro carbons but I really prefer the old look. I know many prefer the stealth look with more markings but It does give them that cheap Chinese wheel look. I know it’s more of a vanity thing but I’ll probably order some replacement decals to mark them up. Also I feel the old white “COSMIC” graphics spinning around adds to visibility on the road.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I feel cheated I bought these wheels about three weeks ago in part based on videos with Mavic reps removing tires saying it is very easy to do. Today, I hit a pothole that shouldn’t have caused much damage. Instead it caused a sidewalk blowout in two places that should not have occurred. The wholes were too bad to plug and o was stranded and had to call for a ride. I tried to remove the tire this afternoon just like they show you on the video and it was nearly impossible to do. These tires are not easy to remove and they apparently are not durable either. To add insult to injury, about a week after I bought these, Mavic dropped the price of the TDF version of their wheels. Bottom line I could have gotten a better wheel for about $500 less than I paid. The wheels were ordered from Mavic through a local bike shop. Mavic should have told me or them that the wheels were about to go on sale and they should have given me the reduced price. I’ve been riding Mavic wheels for 20+ years and I feel deceived and cheated by a company that I used to trust.

UST Tubeless Ready

UST Tubeless Ready

Traction, control and lightweight
The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats.
The 'tubeless ready' construction results in a lighter tyre for improved performance.

Integral Glass Transition Temperature
iTgMAX consists in an inner rim bed finished with multiple layers of seamless carbon fiber to achieve a unique one-piece rim contour without cutting any fibers. The brake track is then finished with a laser machining to ensure the best braking efficiency

Qualité de Roulements Mavic
Mavic only uses high quality sealed cartridge bearings. On QRM wheels, they feature double sealing (2RS or LLU) together with tight C3 internal clearance.

Force Transfer System Light
Reinforcement of key transmission components: the contact area between the pawl and the hub body is reinforced by 2 stainless steel inserts, which allows the use of a 100% aluminum hub body.
