NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aerodynamics), determined the optimal airfoil profiles to deliver the best aerodynamic performance and to help achieve that profile we use our CX01 Blades, a special technology that optimizes integration of the wheel and tire. The result? The CXR Ultimate 60 T slices through wind faster than any other wheel in its category. Beyond that, it’s the most stable in a crosswind, making it easy to steer in blustery conditions and the tubular rim features full carbon construction to minimize weight. The spokes are bladed, and the hubs have a smooth shape to further enhance its aero efficiency. The optimized tread pattern of the CXR Ultimate tubular tire further lowers wheel drag by minimizing turbulence.
