The CXR Elite combines high aerodynamic efficiency low drag and stability in crosswinds with engineered durability and reliability at an incredible value. The key to this durable, high-value Wheel-Tire System is our patented Blackcell technology, a lightweight polymer material made of millions of closed cells. The rim material is shaped to the precise requirement of a 60mm NACA profile with a 25mm outer width. The special rim bed design is 16mm wide internally to fit tires 23mm and above, and the rims are laced to our Instant Drive 360 hubs with fast-engagement and our patented aerodynamic spokes. The front wheel is fitted with a low-drag 23mm Yksion Pro Griplink tire for amazing cornering performance and the rear has our 25mm Yksion Pro Powerlink tire for low rolling resistance, superior traction and extra comfort. The CXR Elite is only available on select bike brands.

Grip and control
A front tyre, whether a clincher or a tubular, must fully liberate the wheel’s ability to hold the ground and control the bike. Therefore, GripLink tyres are optimized for front use, by offering a superior grip and extra puncture protection.

Qualité de Roulements Mavic +
Our most demanding level. Those cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance, and toped with a micro-adjustability system.

Low rolling resistance
A rear tyre, whether a clincher or a tubular, must fully liberate the wheel’s ability to transfer power and generate speed. Therefore, PowerLink tyres are optimized for rear wheel use, by minimizing the rolling resistance.

A Lightweight, low maintenance, robust aero rim

Instant Drive 360

Instant Drive 360

The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and fast to engage with only 9°. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

Optimum energy transfer
The spokes are laced radially on the drive side and crossed 2 on the non drive side to maximise drive side dish, thus providing a better spoke tension balance between left and right flanges.
