Lower recommended tyre pressure with no risk of pinch flats
Just 30g of sealant prevents most puncture
Available in 25mm and 28mm

The Yksion Pro UST offers the best blend of low rolling resistance, grip and comfort, a trilogy that is usually impossible to reconcile.
The rolling efficiency has been measured 15% lower than a tubetype equivalent in our lab and in real life.
Our testers have also found it super fast in wet turns, bringing them an unmatched confidence.
Being tubeless, it can be run at lower pressure (about 1 bar / 15PSI less) than a standard tubetype tyre, with no loss of efficiency and with less risk of pinch flat.
And what's usualy the achille heel of tubeless (mounting and servicing) has been solved by developing it together with our own wheels for tighter tolerances. The stretchable kevlar beads are super easy to mount and dismount. With just 30g of sealant, it's as airtight as a butyl tube and offers a nice puncture protection.
Available in 25mm or 28mm.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lost Confidence In Tyres Bought Mavic Kysrium Elite UST 2018 with these tyres fitted - store set up on bike and was very pleased initially. However in around 8 months and 1000 dry road miles I’m not happy. After 3 months I spotted a bulge on the rear tyre - see photo. Mavic did replace this in fairness. Then yesterday that replacement tyre punctured, the liquid sprayed and I carried on cycling until safe to pull over. I lifted the rear wheel and pedalled until eventually it sealed. Then road the 4 mile home. I checked tyre and all seemed ok. Topped up sealant (mavic). Inflated today to correct pressure. Today I rode a charity cycle ride (Cyclists Fighting Cancer, Stratford Upon Avon). 10 minutes before start, despite only inflating to 87 as recommended the same tyre started squirting sealant. It sealed , then squirting again. I had no choice but to add an inner tube. Having lost confidence I cycled the shortest route (30 miles) disappointed as entered the 100k. These tyres do not fill me with any confidence now, I do not feel I can trust the system. I purchased after seeing on line video review by Global Cycling Network GCN. The tyres on that review appeared indestructible. I have not enjoyed the same durability. So today, it cost me riding the distance I’d planned (for charity), an inner tube that I thought would never be needed. I’ve now got to buy another tyre, another inner tube, and more sealant. An expensive disaster - I’m not happy. These tyres and wheels less than 12 months old, and the thought of having to consider using tubes again makes me annoyed. The fact it wrecked a charity ride just makes it even harder to accept. Dissapointed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lovely ride, flimsy tyres I've done about 80km on my Yksion Pro UST tyres but the rear tyre blew out after what I can only assume was a cut to the side wall. Hard to imagine how this happened as the tyres were at 81PSI and ridden on clean, dry even roads. Disappointed that if I ride on another tyre (e.g. Schwalbe Pro 1) and I have a problem I could breach my warranty. Hope it was a one-off, will try a replacement and see how it goes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Tire surface is fragile and wears out too quickly Amazing tires in terms of rolling resistance and performance but durability of the compound is questionable. I literary had mine for 2 months and have done about less than 300 miles and noticed cuts and visible damage to the tire surface. Now I am not sure of the tire is safe to ride. I had my other Bontrager tires for thousands of kilometres without any visible damage. It is alarming and disappointing!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great ride quality, but terrible wear Tyres bought with (excellent) Ksyrium Elite UTS wheels at end of January and lightly used since My first set of 'tubeless'. Totally sold on the ride quality: outstanding at ironing out the poor UK road surfaces we have to endure. However, in common with other reviewers here, I have found the wear to the Yksion Pro UST tyres to be truly terrible. I'm guessing that I have covered well under 500 miles on the wheels / tyres, as I use several bikes. It's not just the cuts, nicks, and curious holes that are appearing, it's also the strange diagonal scratches and rub marks that have appeared across the tread and which I have never seen on other (clincher) tyres I use. You can see how 'new' the tyres are from the photos - the moulding sprue is still there on the walls of both tyres. They really do look like tyres that have been through a tough season! I am a recreational rider and only ride on tarmac, so it's not like they have been thrashed. It is a real shame that there is clearly some kind of production or design issue here, because I am a great fan of Mavic wheels, which I use pretty much exclusively. I also like the Yksion Griplink / Powerlink clinchers, which I use on 2 Elite S wheelsets, and which have given me no problems at all (despite other commentators being so rude about them) - famous last words. Given the cost of tubeless tyres - approaching car tyre prices - there really is no excuse for poor product quality. As a result, right now I'm in no hurry to replace my other clinchers wheels with tubeless. I really don't want to spend all that money experimenting. Mavic, I hope you and your tyre partner can sort out this issue - and certainly don't sell the tyres with new wheels until you can be confident in their quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from these are actually very good Like many others, I decided to give tubeless a go as they were mounted on the new wheels (usually have conti 4000). Easy to install once I got the hang of putting in the sealant (instructions not great). Holds pressure perfectly (but takes a day or so to get to that point). Ride is comfortable and reasonably fast with no punctures yet, even after around 500k on bad london roads.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice tyres but prone to cuts I liked the concept of wheel and tyre being designed together to ensure a good fit without all the fitting issues. I bought the Ksyrium Elite UST wheelset that is supplied with these tyres. Initially, I was very positive about my first experience of tubeless, but after 3 months the tyre was showing multiple cuts and small punctures that wouldn’t seal with road tyre pressures (circa 85 psi). Replaced with a pair of 28mm tyres allowing for lower pressure. However, experienced the same issue, and only managed 2 months before a puncture wouldn’t seal. Tried using the “worm” repair option, but couldn’t get that to work with a road tyre. With a relatively high tyre cost, combined with short life-time, and no practical option for repair, these end up being an expensive solution. Tyres from the usual competitors have given me a longer lifetime, and puncture resistance on the same roads and use (admittedly fitted with tubes).

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor durability Well I thought I had found the perfect tyer but sadly for the first time in my cycling career in 10 years of riding I had to get a lift home Due to a slash in the rear tyer Got say Esey to put tyres on my roval wheels Great grip but they just can't stand up to British weather

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 28mm Easy install and road feel.... Durability? I love the fact these are easy to install and actually feel the ride quality is great however I suffered a puncture which was big enough for the Sealant not to do it's job and now I have a tube in a tubeless tyre!!! Will give them another chance as I want tubeless to work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bad initial experience but seem to be holding up I had these tyres fitted as standard on the matching wheel set fitted as standard on my Canyon Endurace CF SL. I had never had tubeless before so was looking forward to puncture free riding. What I didn't realise was that Mavic or Canyon had decided in their wisdom to fit the tyre with tubes. The problem is that the tolerance is so tight, so when the inevitable puncture occurred, ( a small piece of glass right in the centre of the tread) I could not replace the tube on the side of the road the tolerance was so tight I could barely break the bead. I had to be rescued by a friend and driven home. I had probably only done about 150 miles at the most on the tyres so it was quite an expensive puncture. I tried to convert both the tyres to tubeless and used the valve and sealant but the already punctured rear tyre kept deflating. I bought a replacement tyre and have both set up as tubeless, with no problems or punctures since. The actual fitting is a real tight squeeze and very difficult. Even my LBS had a go and gave up. I quite like the feel of them but have that nagging doubt at the back of my mind in view of that initial puncture.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great traction and weight. Sealant out from side. On one tire sealant is out from side. Pressure is down after six days. ( Manufacturing mistake, may be.. )

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great when new but don't last very long I bought some mavic cosmic ust wheels which came with the Yksion Pro ust tyres, at first I was so impressed with the ease of installing the tyre, a track pump had them fully inflated with no sealant leakage in less than 5 minutes, they felt awesome on the road too, definitely noticing the lower rolling resistance due to the lower psi required & loving the piece of mind that if I do get a puncture then no messing around with tubes & levers on the roadside. 700ish miles later & I'm not so impressed. Both front and rear tyre showing serious wear, multiple small holes in the front tyre & similar appearance to the rear but it also has a very large gash in it. I ride on roads in & around London so not expecting this kind of degradation. I was having to pump them up every other day as they would drop about 15 psi. My usual Conti tyres easily last a year (about 5,000 miles) before I even considered replacing them. On my search for replacement Yksion ust tyres I discovered that all of the large retailers are out of stock & not able to tell me when they will be back in stock. I love Mavic brand, have been using their wheels for years & years with no problem whatsoever so. I'm super disappointed with the quality of the Yksion tyres, maybe this was a bad batch but I can't even find replacements to find out if this is the case.
